Khajjiar Lake – The most pristine and prettiest spot in Khajjiar is the Khajjiar Lake. Khajjiar Trek – This 14 km trek, along the deodar and pine lined trail is one experience which is brimming with vitality. For routine trekkers, 14 km isn’t a big deal, but for non trekkers, this could be a bit tiring. But once you delve your senses entirely into the luscious environs of Khajjiar, 14 km just becomes a number. You would simply want to continue exploring this place till eternity.
Adventure Activities – What could be more energizing and life inducing than paragliding through the gorgeous valley greens and towering peaks of Khajjiar? So when in Khajjiar, do not for any reason miss on undertaking the various activities organised by the state tourism or private tour operators. These include horse-riding, zorbing, paragliding, etc.
Khajji Nag Temple – This is a temple dedicated to Khajji Nag, Lord of the Serpents, and is an ancient sanctuary dating back to 12th century AD. It is ideally located near the Khajjiar Lake and is a popular tourist spot. The edifice of this temple is carved in wood and the inside premises of the temples has intriguing images of the Pandavas and Kauravas of Mahabharata. The temple is a significant religious site for locals of this area.

Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary – This is arranged in the midst of oak and coniferous trees. Extending over a range of around 19.63 sq km, this sanctuary is home to species like deer, serow, jackal, panther, mountain bear, wild felines, Himalayan dark marten and others. Numerous jeopardized types of creatures and winged animals can also be seen here. This haven exists in the stretch in the middle of Dalhousie and Khajjiar.
