Presently Delhi University is accepting application for admission into its 70 college for Admission into their Undergraduate courses. Before having a look at the modes of Admission into DU University let us have a look at the common admission form that need to be filled for admission into Delhi University:

• Common Pre Admission Form: All the candidates who want to take admission into any course being offered at any institute of Delhi university need to fill the common pre admission form. This form is filled at the university level and not at the college level. This form will be for enrollment in the University. While for admission into a specific college, candidates need to report at the college when the cut off list is displayed.

Modes of Entry in Delhi University: There is no Management Quota in any College under Delhi University.

• By Entrance Examination:
Delhi University will be organizing written entrance examination for admission into BMS, BFIA and Business & Economics, Multi Media & mass Communication, BFA and some other courses. The admission to these courses will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance examination

• By Sports Quota:
Every college can have their own Sports/ECA application form available at the respective institute. The admission will be based on the guidelines issued by University for admission under sports quota. Sports quota will have further 2 provision of admission:

  1. Direct admission without Trials: Athletes with outstanding performance records will be given direct admissions. Athletes who have participated or represented India at International Level i.e. Olympics, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games and Paralympics will be treated under this category.
  2. By Trials: Sport Trials will be organized by Delhi University and the successful candidates will be issued certificates that will make them eligible to take admission in the respective college.

• By Specific Colleges:
After filling common pre admission form, each college will display its own cut off list based on the previous experiences and Class 12 marks.

• By Open Learning:  Delhi University offers B.Com/B.A courses by the means of Distance Education. The courses offered by Open Learning are useful for those candidates who were unable to get admission in regular courses or want to work along with their studies.
